Dr Mike Abougoush grew up in Kelowna B.C. He did his undergraduate Science degree at UBC while playing Junior Varsity then Varsity hockey with the UBC Thunderbirds. He graduated from UBC Dental School in 2001, and after working several years in the lower mainland moved back to the Okanagan in the summer of 2005.
Dr. Abougoush continues advanced levels of study in all aspects of dentistry. He is currently an active member of the KoisCentre for Advanced Dental Learning based out of Seattle Washington with Dr. John Kois. He graduated from the program in 2009 and is now a Kois Center Mentor.
Dr. Abougoush is also an active member of PRSS (Predictable Restorative and Surgical Solutions) with Dr. Norm Ickert in Abbotsford, B.C. He continues to take advanced training in implant surgery and is an active member of their surgical residency.
